Her Name? Karina Holosko sculpture
This is the first time I am using the female figure. She is learning to play in her own sandbox...a burden lifted, exhausted, exhilarating.
Can u find her third eye?

Well Pleased
The figure who has struggled so hard to overcome illness can now take time to pause, to rest to lounge to welcome the movement of life as part of its being not something to struggle for.

I Can See You
This was a fascinating piece to finish. I was concerned about the clay melting under pressure and so the eye was added in the middle to hold up the structure. It obviously worked in my favor.

The Toad
This piece is a little departure for me. I was working on Halloween characters for a creature development company and this queer looking toad came out of nowhere. Personally I have a great fondness for him and hopefully will be able to develop a future family of toads.
More on the way
The thoughts of the viewer are always appreciated.

The Kossack
My father was a great lover of all things Russian. I call this the Kossack. You can see him dancing and kicking his feet in the air. This brings me back to a happy time in my childhood when my father protected me from the anger and hatred my brothers felt for me. When my protector died I was left isolated and ill and alone.
