The hanging Cross

This was guided by pure spirit. I had no idea when I made the cross that it would turn out like this. I was drawn like magic to the jewelry making wholesale section of NYC where I picked up the triangle stones, the sculls, the rawhide, the sharks tooth and the little angel in the middle. I had no idea how they would go together. YET THEY DID!!!

Her Name? Karina Holosko sculpture

This is the first time I am using the female figure. She is learning to play in her own sandbox...a burden lifted, exhausted, exhilarating.

Can u find her third eye?

The cycle of the Future

When I first started I worked in plasticine. The obvious problem was durability unless I could make a mold immediately. In the cold it cracked and in the heat it melted, but it did prove a wonderful and flexible medium.  Here is a little guy looking forward to the new cycle of life. It is done in black. I am still experimenting with color options. There are so many materials available to me it can get a bit overwhelming.

Well Pleased

This sculpture was difficult to work due to the humidity. But when it was finished I was very "Well Pleased".
The figure who has struggled so hard to overcome illness can now take time to pause, to rest to lounge to welcome the movement of life as part of its being not something to struggle for.

LOVE

This looks rather complicated like love but if you follow the lines they are flowing and simple like running water.
Enjoy

I Can See You

This was a fascinating piece to finish. I was concerned about the clay melting under pressure and so the eye was added in the middle to hold up the structure. It obviously worked in my favor.

The Patriot

This guy was my first commission piece. My client is a a big patriot and was really pleased with the results. Ideally, this one will be around 8ft tall and done in bronze. The thing is I can't decide between a green patina or a bronze one. I don't think gold will work for this one.

The flower Bed

This is the first time that I have added an element of flora in my work. The main figure is surrounded by new possibilities.

The Toad

This piece is a little departure for me. I was working on Halloween characters for a creature development company and this queer looking toad came out of nowhere. Personally I have a great fondness for him and hopefully will be able to develop a future family of toads.

More on the way

It seems as if this figure has given birth represented by the tiny orbs. As u can see there is on big orb and two tiny ones waiting in the background.
The thoughts of the viewer are always appreciated.

Pushing into the World

This piece started when I began to realize that I had been punishing myself in order to protect my abusers. You can see by the strain of the pregnant female figure that I have not yet emerged.

The Kossack

My father was a great lover of all things Russian. I call this the Kossack. You can see him dancing and kicking his feet in the air. This brings me back to a happy time in my childhood when my father protected me from the anger and hatred my brothers felt for me. When my protector died I was left isolated and ill and alone.
